Title: Corporate Paralegal
Location: Boswell, Pa

Corporate Paralegal / Accounting Assistant

This is a hybrid and unique position within a family owned industrial construction and manufacturing company based in Somerset County Pa.  The person selected will split their time supporting legal and accounting issues.

Duties include the following:                             


  • Assist outside attorneys gather information and materials in preparation for cases, agreements, contracts and litigation.  

  • Act as liaison between outside counsel and internal management.

  •  Assist in drafting various legal documents.

  • Perform and / or manage all aspects of document preparation, document flow and version control.

  • Original drafting of routine petitions and applications for which models are available under direction of outside attorney. 

  • Act as Secretary to Board of Directors – attend meetings, keep and prepare minutes, assist in putting the BOD package together, assist in scheduling and planning of BOD meetings

  • Sales tax research and business registration in various states.

  • Provide high level & routine paralegal and administrative support as needed. 


  • Assist/backup the Accounting Department as necessary.

  • Accounting document management, office management and support as needed.



Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience.  A background in the construction and / or manufacturing industry preferred. A BS degree and/or a paralegal certificate desired.  Accounting coursework highly valued.

Additional Requirements

Excellent computer skills required. Notary certification a plus.
